Cultural Shock!
( Video courtesy Youtube)
Dedicating this song to the most eligible man in Karnataka. Happy Valentines Day sweetheart!! *muah*
A Valentine Day anecdote... 'reengineered' and served for the above mentioned gent and his cultural studs!
A passenger plane on a cross-country trip runs into a terrible storm. The plane gets pounded by rain, hail, wind and lightning.
The passengers are screaming. They are sure the plane is going to crash and that they are all going to die.
At the height of the storm, a young woman jumps up and exclaims, "I can't take this anymore! I can't just sit here and die like an animal, strapped into a chair. If I am going to die, let me at least die like a woman. Is there anyone here man enough to make me feel like a woman?"
She sees a hand raise in the back, and a muscular man starts to walk up to her seat. As he approaches her, he takes off his kurta.
She can see the man's muscles even in the poor lighting of the plane. He stands in front of her, shirt in hand and says to her, "I can make you feel like a bharathiya naari before you die. Are you interested?"
Eagerly, she shakes her head, "Yes!"
And the man thrashes her to pulp!
Now chew on that in jail! ;)
Have a nice weekend folks. I am off to join the pub bharo andolan!

Pink Pink Hurray !
LOL!
As always, your punch holds much!
Enjoy, and hope u have a great Valentine's day too :)
LOL!!!! I am forwarding this :-P
I felt the "pink chaddi" campaign took the seriousness off the whole issue.
The result:
A "chhota" Sene became world famous. And according to the news, the sene members are having the time of their lives. They say that they never had so much of attention from people (are they embarrassed or not..I don't know about that), especially women who took pains to send such beautiful chaddis to them.
But I support "Pub-bharo" (today all pubs should be overcrowded..people should be even allowed to stand and drink!!) and I suggest that today couples should walk hand in hand only.
all these sene and dal bast@#@@ who play on religion are nothing short of terrorists ..i wish the sane Indians could group together and thrash such moral-policing goons to pulp..
"You give me pink chaddi, and I'll give you freedom" ;)
Pub bharo!
Happy Valentine's Day !!! Pink Chaddi Andolan Zindabad !!!!
The man's thrashes are nothing compared to your punches, figuratively I mean. Happy Valentine's Day Anjali.
Pub bharo
loose ladki ho
ya paaro
aise seva karo!
Happy Valentine Day to you!Cheers!here's To Pub bharo !!:)
what a post!:D
Lovely post. Really loved your efforts to make sure the Sena makes its way to the rightful place it belongs to - JAIL. Such napumsaks need to be in the jails only, not roaming around policing pretty ladies and good guys.
Rock on Silverine :)
"uh...one mug please...phffffffff...aah..no..make it a pitcher...I have got company...."
"Muthu bhai..cheeeers...."
"waah...this tastes better than my desi cola!!"
(after a few beers)
"Muthu bhai....lets go for a movie!!"
"Which one"
"Pink Psnther Muthu!!"
"##%#^#$%^%$&"
pub bhar liyaaa!!! mein bhi!
he he ... i can see the hatred in ur words :) pink pink zindabad!
LOLZ!!!!!
Could it have been said any way better? Nah, I don't think so!
:D
P.S: Was the pub bharao'ed?
Superb punch!
Hitch writer: We won!!! *hic* *hic* hurray! ;)
Usha: We had the time of our lives, what with all sorts of people on the roads lending support! It was awesome!! :)
Phoenix: Thanks girl! :)
Manu: I think the pink chaddi campaign was perhaps the best way to address hypocrisy! And the message was to a larger audience than Muthalik. I am sure lots of wannabe moral police got the message that the ordinary citizen is not going to keep quite anymore. In that it succeeded! btw pubs were overgrowing yesterday! ;)
MC: They got a thrashing alright! Through vox populi! :)
Philip: LOL!!
Vivek: Lets drink to that...at the nearest pub! :p
thomman: :) Thanks buddy.
Karthik: Wah! Wah! Kya sher maara hai! :p
Indyeah! Thank you! :)
Abhi: "napumsaks " Well said! I think you described them just right!!!
Mathew: Poor guy! I heard he is not in the pink of health right now! LOL!
Praveen: Good for you!! I was pleasantly surprised to see the crowds at the pubs! :)
sandeep: :) Believe me if I had my way I would have them beaten up!!
Thoorika: :)
Still Thinking: Thanks girl! :)
raindrops: Thank you! :)
ROFL ROFL
Cheers to de "pub bharo" event!!!! :) n as alwz anjali, ur posts hv that sublime satire, that juz adds spunk to the entire issue!!
Good anecdote!
On Valentines Day, Cheers to St.Valentine and pink chaddis to his arch enemy(the whole lot of them)!
Me and my buddies not only filled a pub, but ended up filling their coffers too!
Hic!
this time, we won - the goons lost :)
Looks the Sene folks might sell all the wonderful "gifts" that they have received in the last couple of days and raise money!!
Hope you drank yourself silly!
Stupid sene buggers!
In another version, he asks her to wash the shirt.
dsk: :)
Sashu: Thank you dear! :)
Nitram: Thanks! It was the non alcoholic 'spirit' of the people that won the day though! :)
--xh--: Yes!! Let that be a lesson for us and them! :)
Pramod: I heard they are going to burn it! :p
Bullshee: We did! :p
AP: Thats the original version. This is my version! :)
